That's one cute kid, eh? I'm not sure who comes up with the fruit/veggie-to-baby comparison, but surely they could have found something better than this! At 25 weeks baby boy is now about the size of a rutabaga, that lovely root veggie you see pictured above. He's about 13 1/2 inches long and weighs a pound and a half. Lots more pounds and inches to go - for him and me both, I'm afraid. Lola has chosen a name for her baby brother, but I'm keeping it quiet until we decide for sure if we're going to go with her suggestion. Stay tuned.

Last week in snapshots:
Good morning, sleepyhead!
We ate blueberries on the deck
Pop started building Lola's playhouse
We "practiced" getting ready for baby brother
We made cookies
We went for a boat ride (sighhhhhhh)
And I enjoyed (several scoops of) TCBY's mint chocolate chunk fro-yo
In short, we're all doing well. I'm feeling fine, other than a little nagging need to paint and clean and organize (nest) and not finding the time to do any of it yet. Still working on a name for the little man. If you have any suggestions, do share! I promise I'll try to get a "real" update written soon. Happy Monday!

Inspiration
We have been wanting to get/build/buy Lola an outdoor playset or playhouse for a while now. My first thought was to build something, but I just didn't see how we'd ever get it done. So, I looked around for one to buy but still didn't find exactly what I was looking for. Then I saw this on pinterest:
Bingo. I love this. This is exactly what I had in mind: a little bungalow/hideaway/fort. And I love the slide off the side. Now that Pop is back in town we have the perfect general contractor to make it happen. Stay tuned!
