Last week Matt, Lola and I made a quick trip (we were gone 32 hours from home) to St. Louis. First we drove to Farmington (about an hour south of St. Louis) to visit one of Matt's college buddies, Paul, and his wife, Risha, who we haven't seen in years. We stayed at their house, and Lola had a blast playing with their two girls, Lillie (6) and Nora (3).
Lola got a "boo boo", and nurse Lillie put a bandage on for her. Soooo cute.
(Btw, did I mention our girl is a drama queen?)

Notice Lola is still concerned about that boo boo...
We headed to St. Louis the next morning and went to a few shops near the Botanical Gardens and then to lunch at Zia's on the Hill. The Cardinals played the Cubs at 12:45... and the Cards won!
First trip to Busch Stadium!
We had to listen to the last half of the game in the car. It was hot, and Lola was worn out after a few innings. We tried to hold out until her cousins, Chaney and Keaton, could get there, which probably would have pepped her up a bit. But when she looked at us and said, "go home," we figured it was time to go. :) She fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot.
Summer is about to be in full swing in Pontiac, which means we are going to be a bunch of busy bees. Hope you have a fun Memorial weekend planned!
