I'll take it

Two nights ago both kids slept all night without interruption and didn't wake up until 6:30 the next morning. Matt and I got up at 6:00 - he enjoyed a cup of coffee and I a cup of tea. BY OURSELVES. We actually watched the news for THIRTY MINUTES instead of cartoons. It was delightful. Last night? Lola woke up at midnight and wanted to get in our bed or one of us in hers. Finn was up and unsettled from 3 to 4 a.m. (pretty sure he's teething). I woke up to cartoons already playing, so I opted for the shower first instead of my usual cup of tea. Even if I can't have that perfect scenario every night and morning, I'll take it when I can get it.
